Business parks, town centres and rural pickups
For campuses and business parks, provide the building, department and receiving entrance. Rural and port-area addresses may need additional directions or access authorisation. Confirm any restricted-site arrangements before the driver is dispatched.
Examples of our East of England delivery work
A few examples of the consignments and routes BHA has handled in this area.
Eight boxes delivered to Cambridge
A small-van booking from IP24 to Cambridge CB2 recorded eight boxes at 10kg each. A complete item count helps both addresses check the handover.
A pallet collected in Ipswich
A small-van booking from Ipswich IP1 to NR30 recorded one pallet weighing 150kg. Tell us the pallet footprint and loading equipment as well as the weight.
A delivery into the Norwich area
A long-wheelbase booking from S66 to NR7 illustrates a delivery into the Norwich area from another region. Arrival arrangements need checking against the receiving site's hours.
Choose the service around your deadline
For urgent same-day deliveries, collection is within 1 hour of confirmed booking. A dedicated vehicle takes your goods directly to the agreed destination. Tell us when the goods will be ready and when they need to arrive so we can agree the collection arrangements and delivery plan before confirming your booking.
If your dates are flexible, ask about economy courier options. These normally take 2–4 working days and may share vehicle space. We will confirm the service and arrival window for your booking.
Match the vehicle to your goods
Send the item count, packed dimensions and weight, including any pallet or crate. Explain fragile surfaces, items that must stay upright and any loading assistance needed. We will arrange a suitable vehicle and agree any tail lift or extra crew in advance.
For valuable goods, tell us the type and value before booking so we can confirm the applicable goods-in-transit cover, limits and exclusions.
Your courier questions answered
Can you collect from a business campus?
Yes. Include the building and department, the correct entrance and a contact who can release the goods.
What if the postcode covers several buildings?
Give us the unit or building name and directions to the handover point. A map pin can also help with a difficult entrance.
Can you deliver to a restricted site?
We can assess the request, but access permissions, receiving contacts and booking requirements must be confirmed before dispatch.
Request your East of England courier quote
Send both postcodes, when the goods will be ready, the required arrival time and the load details. Add a contact at each address and any access restrictions. We will agree availability, the price and the collection and delivery arrangements with you. Your booking is confirmed after payment is received, or we accept the job under your approved business credit-account terms. Sending an enquiry alone does not confirm a booking.
Our staffed office handles bookings and enquiries from 07:30–18:00 UK time, including weekends and bank holidays. Collection and delivery times are agreed separately for each booking. For customers with out-of-hours deliveries, a 24-hour standby mobile number is provided if required. Ask about delivery updates and proof of handover when arranging your job.
